Monash University Malaysia
Established in 1998, Monash was the first foreign university to establish a campus in Malaysia. Initially sharing a campus with Sunway College, the doors opened to 417 undergraduate students enrolled in business and commerce, computer science, engineering and science. Within a few years, postgraduate courses were developed, and it began to expand its research capacity.
Today, Monash University Malaysia is located on a modern, purpose built, independent campus offering a distinctly international and culturally rich environment to more than 9,000 students from 76 different countries. A self-accrediting university, Monash University Malaysia is the third-largest campus of Monash; Australia’s largest university.
